20-point underdogs have a lot to prove going into College GameDay showdown
As the Utes head to Fort Worth, they will have to play their best football to come home with a win and an outright lead in the race for the Mountain West Conference Championship. Not only are their conference and BCS implications on the line, but ESPN’s College GameDay will be at a Mountain West Conference school for the third time in the past four weeks, bringing more attention to the crucial game.
I could probably make a valid argument why the women’s team could have a successful season, but when it comes to who will have the better season, I have to go with the men.
First, I am appalled and slightly concerned that we are having a quarterback debate at this point in the season. It can never be a good thing if coaches are questioning the quarterback eight games in and with the likes of TCU and BYU on the horizon. However, given the Wyoming game, it’s something that has to be considered.
Both the men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams earned a win in this weekend’s meets.
